The story of Arto M., the most successful Scoopshooter to date

Arto M. is a Scoopshooter from Finland who has earned almost 13 000€ so far by sending in photos to Scoopshot. Our most successful Scoopshoter reveals us in this exclusive interview his secrets for a profitable and joyful scoopshooting experience!

What kind of pictures have you mainly taken?

A: Well, I have mainly taken pictures for the Fonecta task “Take a picture of a company”, lots of them!

(For our international readers, the Fonecta task is a precision task that allows the user to get the exact location of a company and pays you 1,50€ for each sold photo)

I have been driving around from town to town with my bicycle attached to my cars bike carrier. When I have reached the center of the town, I take my bicycle off the carrier and start exploring the towns companies from the subtask list in the application.

How much did you earn each day?

A: The daily earnings could easily be around 200-400€, all this for just a few hours of photo snapping. I did this mostly on the weekends alongside my other jobs. The hardest part was to type in the location of the companies, but that’s not an issue anymore since the latest version adds the location automatically to the photo description.

Did you get any other benefits besides earning money?

A: A part from earning money this way, my fitness increased and I got to see new places and new cities. I even bumped in to old friends that I haven’t seen for ages, and met some interesting people from all around the country. In my own words I would say that Scoopshot combines profit and pleasure!

Have you got other people interested in Scoopshot?

A: A couple of co-workers have started to send in pictures and participating in Scoopshot tasks. They also like biking, so what could be better than biking around and taking pictures in the middle of the Finnish summer?

What have you used your Scoopshot earnings for?
A: First of all, I took a three week long vacation to Miami and the Caribbean, funded with my earnings. Other things that I have purchased with my earnings include a new TV, a DSLR-camera, and a video recorder. These are the first things that come to mind.

Thank you Arto for your story and we wish you the best of luck in the future! Happy Snapping!

400€/1,5€ = 300 pics, 1 accepted pic in 2 minutes (impossible avg.) = 600 minutes = 10 hours of continous shooting. Am I missing something? 400 € in FEW hours?

    • Redostrike

That’s his mainly way of getting paided. Not the only one. He prolly also did a few pictures for a larger sum of cash.

Maybe some of the companies where located in the same area. One picture – different company names. Voìla! Lots of dough.

  • 1,5e from every photo minus taxes.. its like 0.75e per photo
